Blueberry Netting Structure
Crop Type: Blueberries.
Key Challenges: Taking over the project from a failing alternate contractor.
Structure type: Timber post, cable grid netting structure.
Outcome: Client was extremely happy and we are still onsite completing further stages of the sites development.
One of the main purposes of netting over blueberries along with providing a shading effect and protection from hail, Wind and Heavy rain is to create a risk free, non-hazardous, and Eco-friendly method of excluding birds and vermin from damaging the berry crop. For this reason, the net structures also have an added layer of protection this being added skirts to prevent Birds and Vermin coming in under the side walls of the netting structure making this one of the most effective net structures of its kind.
