Woven Weedmat

Woven Weedmat is designed to suppress the growth of weeds by restricting sunlight to the soil whilst allowing water to permeate the undergrowth.  This means there is no need for harmful herbicides for weed control. Using weedmat can also reduce evaporation by maintaining soil moisture and therefore save on water consumption.

We recommend adding a 50mm layer of mulch to further assist in the restriction of sunlight and for the longevity of the Weedmat when used in gardens.

Woven Weedmat is a strong, woven, UV-stabilised polypropylene (PP) fabric, therefore suitable for walkable areas in greenhouses, tunnel houses, and nurseries.  It is also suitable for under-stone gardens and pavers.
