Plasback Recycling

THE MAINSTREAM OF PLASTICS AVAILABLE FOR RECYCLING INCLUDE:

  • Multi-row and single row nets (black or white).
  • GroGuards and vine spray guards (corflute only NOT milk-carton type).
  • Irrigation tubing and drip line (MDPE content).

NET RECYCLING & COSTS

  • In the first instance please contact Plasback or Empak. Contact details below.
  • Muti-row & single-row monofilament HDPE nets only (contact Plasback if you have any side nets to recycle). Black or white nets can be mixed. Contact Plasback for advise on contamination levels.
  • Wind nets into rolls and tie off with twine. Remove all internal cores.

COLLECTION AND TRANSPORT TO RECYCLING DEPOT

  • Unpackaged nets & larger volumes of net can be collected & charged at cost of freight. Contact Plasback delivery to Plasback facility in Christchurch.
  • There is a baling charge of $275 per bale ex GST (minimum charge $275). A bale weigh approximately 1T.

GROGUARDS & SPRAY GUARDS RECYCLING & COSTS – MUST BE CORFLUTE TYPE
NOT MILK CARTONS

  • In the first instance please contact Plasback or Empak. Contact details below.
  • Spray guards must be supplied for recycling in cable tied closed Plasback liners only. A cable tie is supplied. Bundling guards together allows more in bag.
  • Buy Plasback bin liners from Plasback website. Liners also available at your Horticultural or Agricultural merchant (costs may vary).

  • Plasback collection liners $50.00/bag ex-GST.
  • There is an additional baling charge of $275.00/bale (minimum charge $275.00) ex-GST

IRRIGATION TUBING & DRIPLINE RECYCLING & COSTS

  • Wind all tubing into rolls and tie off. Remove all internal cores, no straight or loose pipe.
  • Freight collection will be charged at cost.
  • There is an additional baling charge of $275.00/bale (minimum charge $275.00) ex-GST
