Reflector Mat
Empak’s Reflector Mat is made from 100% virgin polyethylene bright white (T102) woven tape. This produces a highly reflective surface which is designed specifically to colour up fruit when laid on the undergrowth. Reflector Mat can also suppress the growth of weeds by restricting sunlight to the soil whilst allowing water to still permeate to the undergrowth. This means there is no need for harmful herbicides for weed control in the orchard. Using weed mat can also reduce evaporation by maintaining soil moisture and therefore save on water consumption.
Reflector Mat is a seasonal product and can be made to order. Claws are also available.
