Over Row has been developed as a single row drape over net and multi row net. It comes as a 30 or 39gsm option in either diamond or hexagonal hole shape with a unique raschel stitch to improve strength and prevent runs.

“The nets from Empak are perfect for us. It has been great to work with a company who listens, and the netting product was exactly what we were after, but stronger and easier to work with than we imagined. We opted for the single row drape-over net, 7.5m wide to ensure it hangs to the ground. This net enables us to still work our vines right up until the day of harvest. Spraying is a breeze. ”

10 Reasons To Use Over-row Nets

Why choosing Empak’s unique patented secured-edge multi row nets are the right choice!

  1. Pre-threaded monowire eliminates the need for tucking wire.
  2. HPDE coated monowire for abrasion, strength, and durability.
  3. Allows easy access for vineyard machinery.
  4. Cost savings as no clips required due to unique patented monowire system.
  5. Lower labour costs and better cover than side nets.
  6. Made to measure widths and lengths for optimal handling and costs.
  7. Contrasting colour markers in outer edges and centre of nets enhances application accuracy.
  8. Faster application and removal with ability to cover several rows at a time.
  9. Clearly labelled bales, with Hi-Vis coil end markers and pre-threaded simply apply directly out of the bale.
  10. Easier to get birds out compared to total cover.

The new benchmark of strength for side netting, Zone Net® has gone through years of development and testing and is now proving its superiority over the competition.
This strength is achieved by the combination of the lockstitch of yarns, the characteristic triangle shape, and the super strong heavy duty monofilament yarn.

10 Reasons To Use Side Netting

Why choosing Empak’s side nets makes better business sense than bale netting.

  1. Empak’s Zone Net and SideNets are made from superior HDPE round monofilament yarns.
  2. Better abrasion resistance, strength, and durability.
  3. Lockstitch knit means nets will not ladder, fray, or run.
  4. Faster application/removal.
  5. Easier handling.
  6. Longer life provides a better return on investment.
  7. Lower labour costs and better cover.
  8. Ideal 10mm – 12mm mesh size will keep wax eyes out.
  9. Also available in black to blend in and provide better visual appeal.
  10. 10-year manufacturer’s UV warranty for NZ conditions.
